James Pickens, Jr. (born October 26, 1954) is an American actor notable for his starring role as Dr. Richard Webber on the ABC drama television series Grey's Anatomy and also for his supporting role as Deputy Director Alvin Kersh on later seasons of The X-Files.

Like most bald celebs, James Pickens Jr. will always make a fashionable statement with a hat to cover his hair loss. Despite his thinning of hair, he has used that to his advantage in the roles he plays such as a mature and wise doctor in the hit TV show Grey's Anatomy.
