Mike Singletary (NFL Coach) Status: Balding
Michael Singletary (born October 9, 1958 in
Houston, Texas) is the
head coach for the
San Francisco 49ers of the
National Football League. Before he became the coach of the 49ers in 2008, he spent his entire playing career as a
linebacker for the
Chicago Bears after starring in
college at
Baylor University.
Mike Singletary is one of the few NFL players who have made a career transition from player to coach. He brings to the field many years of football experience as well as a balding head that he's not afraid to show off at post game conferences. Go Mike!
